1. Instructions on how to send E-mail
1. If you have an E-mail account such as yahoo.com, aol.com, or google.com,
then log in using your username and password. Please have an e-mail
account before continuing, and you can search on the internet using keyword
phrase “free e-mail accounts.”
2. Your screen should look something like the figure below (most E-mail
accounts should have something that looks similar):

3. See Figure 3.1 below:
You can see in this figure
that there is a compose box
with a grey faded arrow
pointed downward. Click
on the arrow to get the next
following step.
2. 4. You should get a box with the word ‘Email’ in it. Now highlight the E-mail
word with your cursor by clicking on the downward arrow to get the menu. Then
move cursor over the word ‘Email’ to highlight it.
5. At the top of your screen it should look similar to the two below
(One is from an aol.com account and the other is from a yahoo.com
account):

3. 6. Now enter in a E-mail address in the ‘to’ line like the sample below:
This example above has the E-mail addresses, BPDSoul2@aol.com,
abaker@liftcommunities.org, with a comma and space between each E-mail
address. For the purpose of these instructions, you’ll be learning
how to send E-mail to one recipient. In the subject line there’s the word
‘Howdy’.
9. Look below the icons explained in detail to you earlier. You should
have a content E-mail box that looks like the following:
You will write your E-mail in this box above using any of the icons at the
top of this screen explained to you earlier.
11. Press the send button in the upper left corner of your screen. After
you send your E-mail you should get something like this at the top of
your screen depicted in the following picture below:

4. Note: However, if you misspell a word in the E-mail address of the
recipient you are sending your E-mail to you might get something like
this:
Please check the accuracy of the E-mail address of the recipient you are
sending your E-mail to before you send it!!!
