I currently Direct the UC Davis Proteomics Core Facility From my biosketch personal statement: The UC Davis Genome Center Proteomics Core (http://proteomics.ucdavis.edu ), which I head, has a staff of four dedicated scientists. The proteomics core offers protein identification, quantitation, post-translational modification discovery and proteomic sample preparation and method development. For high throughput identification characterization of proteins and peptides, the proteomics core has at its disposal two Thermo Scientific Q-exactive mass spectrometers vonnected to a Waters Nano-Acuity Ultra High Pressure Nano UPLC and a Proxeon Easy Nano HPLC, two Thermo Electron LTQ linear iontra...
