I have known Mr. Branislav Božanović since 1993, when he successfully completed his Police
Office Course and commenced his work in Doboj Police Station 1. Throughout the war in Bosnia and
Herzegovina, in period between 1993 and 1996 I was Branislav's immediate supervisor as Deputy
Police Station Commander. Due to his performance, both in war field and on the streets of Doboj
Branislav grew as Police Officer what was soon recognized by myself and the Station Commander,
and he became the Sector Leader. He showed the ability to remain calm in stressfull and life
threatening situations, while quickly analysing the problem and recommending the most efficient
remedy. Therefore, it was natural for both of us to become close friends because I knew that I can
trust him with my life and with lives of other colleagues.
After 1996, we both quit our jobs in Police and I started my own security business. Knowing well his
capabilities, I ofered Branislav a job – Deputy Director / Chief of Operations in „Sector Security“. He
worked with me until UN offered him a job. Despite being sad for loosing such hard worker and
excellent security risk analyst, I was thrilled knowing that Branislav's abilities are simply too big for
small town like Doboj. He was, and still is made for something much bigger.
As of 2014 I established a new company dealing with wide specter of business. As one part of my
business is Security and Safety, I figured that I need someone like Branislav to establish and run
Security and Safety operations throughout entire Bosnia and Herzegovina. So, I offered him to work
again for me as Deputy Director / Head of Operations in my company Zaštita i sigurnost. As of July
2014 Branislav is in charge of entire security & safety, operations, logistics and HR in my company
and I can say that he is doing his job with extreme precision and in strict time frames, what is of
essential importance in dealing with banks, companies and persons in need of this kind of services.
Through his years of working with me, Branislav has demonstrated the highest level of competence,
ability and dedication to his work. He developed crucial capabilities in security & safety situation
analysis, security plan preparation and its execution.
I am positively sure that Branislav would be a great asset to any future employer.
