1. Bradley J. Long
Senior Software Development Systems Analyst / DevOps Engineer

Technical Summary
As a Senior Software Development Systems Analyst my duties spanned the entire spectrum of the Software Development
LifeCycle for our main on-premises product, Minitab Statistical Software, and included: working with Project Managers and
Team Leads to setup and structure product and feature backlogs, iteration and sprint planning, and workitem and defect
tracking customizations. Also and most significantly, all aspects of server/source control management and administration
were under my purview, including: source/branch management, build automation, automated testing and managing
deployments.
While at Minitab, I utilized fluency along the entire Microsoft stack of technologies, starting at the ground floor as we were
first exploring the use of ALM tools and Agile Methodologies to drive development. My skill and expertise with Team
Foundation Server has grown and matured just as the technology we employed matured and grew. I truly consider myself an
expert and well-seasoned professional regarding on-premises TFS management.
I however, first and foremost consider myself a technology evangelist, and realize that the industry we operate in is ever
evolving just as are the tools we use to drive business and add value to the products we help create. One can not only focus
on the breadth or depth of their experience, but must retain the capacity and desire to learn and anticipate the “next big
thing.” In truth, I am most proud of my professional accomplishments only because they demonstrate this ability and desire
to ever evolve, and not just be a technology stack expert.
