Netscaler java applet troubleshooting
1. Netscaler Java applet Issues.
Error: "Login Failed! No Response from System. Please check your connectivity. (Connection timed
out: connect.
“Unable to fetch Application Firewall Policy ‘policy Name’ Reason: Not logged on
Resolution:
To resolve this issue, ensure that the ports mentioned in the table are opened, especially port 3010
and 3008.The following table lists the various secure and non-secure ports used by the Web front
end and the Java Applet: Make sure that the below ports are opened from your work station.

443, TCP HTTPS GUI Web front end Secure
3010, TCP HTTP GUI Java Applet Non-secure
3008, TCP HTTPS GUI Java Applet Secure
2. Error: Java Applet could not be loaded (NS Version 10.0 73.5)
Resolution:
Open up the Windows Control Panel and start the Java Control panel
Now go to General -> Temporary Internet Files -> Settings and Unselect Keep temporary files on my
computer.
Now go to General -> Advanced and configure the following options
“Mixed code (sandboxed vs trusted) security verification” = “Disable verification”
“Perform certificate revocation checks on” = “Do not check
3. Error: Java Applet could not be loaded/ Citrix Netscaler 10.x java applet hangs while starting
Resolution:
Try above setting. If not working then Lower the security and add the Netscaler URL in Exception list.
Click the Security tab, and then set the Security Level to medium
