It is with great privilege that I write to you my strong support and highest recommendation for Billy Bailey.
Billy worked under my direct supervision at the Ohio House of Representatives within the Document
Services Center and mailroom from June 2012 to August 2013. During that time he worked with great
honor and dedication by providing exemplary customer service to both the State Representatives and our
fellow staffers. Prior to serving as an Administrative Intern, Billy served as a Legislative Page where his
hard work and dedication stood out and earned him a promotion.
Billy proved himself to be a proactive, quick learner who was always willing to help out in any capacity.
Throughout my tenure working within the Ohio House’s Administrative Office I have rarely had an
employee with such positive assertiveness and adaptability. Billy would always interact with State
Representatives and staffers with respect and would easily resolve conflicts on his level. He was
responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail for 99 State Representative’s Districts and nearly 160 staff.
As the hub of constituent relations for the Ohio House, ensuring the mail is properly maintained,
distributed, and operating at the highest-level possible each and every day is critical. With his excellent
work served the Ohio General Assembly and the citizens of the state of Ohio admirably.
He would routinely find ways to make operations more efficient, take on side projects, and serve as a leader
to his junior peers. As a former United States Marine, I personally find tremendous value in Billy’s
leadership, initiative, and dedication. I knew I could always count on him for one thing: mission
accomplishment. As a result of these attributes Billy would get whatever task accomplished that was given
to him efficiently, effectively, and in the most prudent manner possible.
While his job performance was nothing less than stellar, Billy was also a fan favorite amongst his
colleagues. He was always welcoming, helpful, and respected by all. He has proven to me to be a natural
leader and invaluable employee. I highly recommend him for employment at your organization.
