This letter is to verify the employment of Mr. Bibek Pandit, permanent resident of Bhageshwor-8,
Achham, who has been working for National Reference Laboratory (NRL) as a Medical Lab Technologist
from January 1't 2011 to till date. He has been successful in maintaining work load of 4Ohrs/week
throughout his tenure of 2 years at this medical laboratory. Bibek's duties and responsibilities as a lab
technologist were to support the lab to achieve his entire job requirement which are same as listed
below but not limited:
o Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, such as blood and urine, using microscope or
automated analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases.
o Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipments.
o Analyze and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives.
o Conduct blood tests for transfusion purposes and perform blood counts.
o Obtain specimens, cultivating, lsolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis.
o Collect blood or tissue samples from patients, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood
sample.
o Consult with Pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found
o Supervise and instruct other technicians and laboratory assistants.
