El chupacabras ( the goatsucker)
1. A REPORT ABOUT THE X FILE: THE KILLING
OF SOME DOGS AND COATS IN TACO, TENE-
RIFE BY A GOATSUCKER (CHUPACABRAS)
One of the most bizarre events that took place in Taco
Mountain.Tenerife, some facts concerning the interven-
tion of police on the island. A real X-Files left unre-
solved. The mountain itself was once used as a quarry and
has caves in it and weird rock formations. If the Mexican
"goatsucker" ( Chupacabras) known as the goatsucker and
was thought to be an alien animal or a mutant product of
some secret Frankenstein-style science was going to live
anywhere on Tenerife then Taco Mountain would make as
good a home as any!.
The Houses are built right into its lower levels.
2. The Cave and rocks of Taco Mountain has plenty of bee-
hives
I wondered what was in the caves. Could this be where a
suck-coat ( chupacabras) lived? The killing in Taco hap-
pened on April 29th, 1979. La Laguna, Tenerife (Spain).
When a guard of a building material factory arrived at
11:00 a.m. and found a dead dog, which had been keeping
the stores that night,. There wasn’t any sign of blood. It
was like a vampire had suck it. There were two small holes
in both sides of its body from its heart, liver and all its vis-
cera were taken out of its body. The dead dog, which was
very huge, had been launched to another place of the facto-
ry. It was as if a punch had been inserted into its windpipe,
all its blood was suck, there wasn’t any signs of strug-
gling, it was as it had been hypnotized,to suck its blood.
They wondered if that strange creature might be so huge
and strong as to lauch a dog, wich weighed 40 tones.
People had seen some strange lights in the sky that night.
It might be aliens. There was evidence about some UFOs
had been seen in the sky. There was social panic among
the factory workers and people who lived there.
3. The same happened with other dogs and coats three days
ago. Something had sucked their blood from their bodies.
Their wounds were always seared as if they were made by
a expert surgeon.
The Civil Guard was investigating those strange deaths.
They thought the deaths were because of satanic rituals or
rats, but other animals were taken out their organs and
their bodies were mutilated, etc.in other villages of Tene-
rife. On May the 14th , something strange happened
again. A dead pig was found with its blood sucked in
Guamasa.
Later, other animals like coats were found in the same con-
ditions. There was dog found alive in a house with the
same wounds in Taco.
The Police didn’t find any logical explanation for those
crimes. The wounds were done as if sophisticated tech-
nical instruments were used. It was a weird mystery. Peo-
ple called that strange being as “ The Vampire of the
Night”. Cats were also found in other villages of Tenerife.
It was said a young man to have found dead in a similar
way.
Chupacambras was similar to The dog of Los Guanches
called Tibicena. Its look paralyzed an animal or a person.
4. “A Tibicena, also known as Guacanchas, was a mytho-
logical creature of the Guanches, prehispanic inhabit-
ants of the Canary Islands. Tibicenas were imagined to
be demons or genies who had the bodies of great wild
dogs with red eyes, covered by long, black wool. They
lived in deep caves inside the mountains.
Some existing caves today are still referred to as Tibic-
ena lairs, such as "Cueva del Tibicena". According to
myth, Tibicenas attacked livestock and people, particu-
larly at night. Guanche mythology posited Tibicenas as
offspring of Guayota, (the devil or malignant deity). In-
habitants of Tenerife (where they were called Gua-
canchas) and Gran Canaria (where they were called
Tibicenas) shared a belief in them. Both names refer to
the same mythical being”.

The video says that the chupacabra was there in 1979,
which is a long time ago, and I can't say I have heard of
any further reports of this mysterious creature being
encountered on Tenerife. I don't think I'd fancy going
down that lonely road up the mountain after dark
though!
