ACT 1

INT. MATTHEW'S BEDROOM - DAY
Next to MATTHEW'S king sized bed is a large trophy case
filled with gold and silver medals and trophies including an
Olympic gold medal for the 100 meter sprint. Above his bed is
a framed newspaper article about him achieving his first
Olympic gold medal.
Matthew's beeping alarm begins to go off displaying 6:00AM on
the golden digital alarm clock.
Matthew hits the top of the alarm clock and the sound stops.
Stretching his arms, he lets out a loud yawn and sits up
straight in his bed.
INT. MATTHEW'S KITCHEN - DAY
The sound of bacon sizzling in the pan and the kettle boiling
is heard while MATTHEW moves around the kitchen stressfully
as if in a rush. The pizza boxes from the previous night
remain on the bench with his unused coffee cup on top of
them.
Matthew receives a phone call with his sporty and energetic
sounding ringtone and he quickly answers.
MATTHEW
(quietly, as if he is embarrassed
)
of what he's saying.
Have you got it? Okay. See you soon.
EXT. PARK - DAY
Birds are heard chirping in the background while the leaves
rustle in the wind and kids are laughing and screaming in the
playground.
CIVILIAN flicks through today's newspaper which shows an
image of MATTHEW winning his first Olympic gold medal in the
100 meter sprint.
Unable to see the face of the civilian, the civilian notices
Matthew and DEALER in the distance talking.
The civilian looks towards Matthew and the dealer, then looks
back at the newspaper, then back at Matthew and the dealer.
They quickly recognise Matthew as the same person in the
newspaper and starts watching Matthew and the dealer.

The civilian quickly comes to the realisation that Matthew is
buying some kind of illegal drug off of the dealer and so
they slowly grab their phone out of their big black coat's
pocket and begins to record them.
Matthew and the dealer part ways and begin walking in
separate paths. With Matthew heading towards the civilian,
they quickly react and stops recording and begins walking
away.

ACT 2

INT. MATTHEW'S HOUSE - NIGHT
As MATTHEW walks through his front door with his heavy coat
and filled bag over his shoulders, his phone vibrates. He
pulls out his phone from his jeans pocket and opens an e-mail
which has nothing but an attachment of the video recorded by
CIVILIAN.
Matthew gulps nervously.
He opens his phone and clicks on the video and watches it all
the way through until the end.
Quickly, Matthew types a response in panic requesting
information about the civilian as well as a place and time to
meet. His message reads: "Who are you?? Give a time and
location and we can talk about this."
Matthew puts his phone down on his hard wood cabinet along
with his keys and wallet while he takes off his coat and
walks along the corridor, picking back up the phone on his
way into his living room and takes a seat on the couch.
His phone vibrates again, in his hands this time. Matthew
instantly checks it, expecting it to be information regarding
the video. He reads another e-mail from the civilian
providing short but useful information regarding a time to
meetup saying "1PM tomorrow, Same location."
Matthew lets out a sigh as he slowly types the response:
"Okay."

ACT 3

EXT. PARK - DAY
MATTHEW enters the park where the deal took place which now
feels a lot more gloomy and dark compared to the prior day
when his life was problem-free.
He begins walking down the rocky path where CIVILIAN
previously stalked him and DEALER but can't find anybody.
Matthew sits down on the same bench CIVILIAN was sat on the
previous day while waiting for the civilian to show up.
Matthew pulls out his phone from his jeans pocket and begins
typing an e-mail to the civilian to try and figure out where
they are. His message reads "Where " before receiving a
notification from his best friend. The notification is a text
message which includes a link to a viral Instagram post with
over 500 thousand likes of the video that the civilian
recorded.
Matthew's jaw drops. He begins scrolling through the replies
to the Instagram post which are filled with negativity and
disappointment. He has a look of regret and sadness on his
face, as if he were about to cry.
Matthew drops his phone on the ground with slight aggression
as the repetitive sound of police sirens begin to get louder
and louder.
He leans down putting his hands on his head, remaining sat on
the park bench as the police sirens stop and police officers
begin shouting.
