In the first group meeting minutes we discussed what we would do in regards to
our production company.These different aspects of our production company
consisted of the production company name and also the production company
logo.We decided that the production company name would be vortex cinema
and we brainstormed different ideas as to what the logo would be like.

Discuss the idea
Get the group blog up and running
Decide who should have what roles on the production schedule

 In these particular meeting minutes we prioritised the group blog and decided to get
it up and running as soon s possible, we also discussed the idea of the film itself. We
were considering both action and horror, for horror we was considering a torture
scene and for action we were considering a potential chase scene or something along
those lines. We also discovered that doing a chase scene could potentially be boring
and predictable so we brainstormed more ideas as action was our preferred genre.

What we discussed in this meeting minutes:
In this meeting minutes we discussed our preliminary task, and whether it was successful or not.We
gain vital experience using the camera, and also managed to gain an understanding of the 180
degree rule, match on action amongst other techniques which will help when filming our
production.

In these meeting minutes we discussed the planning work, and what the pieces of planning work we
should prioritize in our planning In order to help us in our production.We needed to ensure that we
did the main pieces of work in regards to our production giving us a framework to go by and to
ensure that it was easier for us in the production.We decided to do the two-minute outline, 90-
minute synopsis, and the at least one draft of the storyboard and script.

What was discussed in these meeting minutes?
In these meeting minutes we discussed the script as we were going to prioritize it, as it would give us a direction to go in
when we were doing the production work.We decided what we should put into the script to make it professional,
we also had to ensure that all the different elements culminated in the script being clear and making sense.
What we will discuss next time?
We are going to look at the potential characters we can use for our production
Additionally we will look at what location will be suitable for the production we are doing.

What was discussed in these minutes?
In these minutes the main topic that was discussed was the characters in our film, we
wanted to decide who was suitable to play this specific role of the characters, so ...
what gender, colour and age they should be. After brainstorming a few potential
candidates we felt would be suitable, we looked at who had the best acting ability and
decided upon these bases.

In these meeting minutes we discussed what the potential locations were for our filming, we
brainstormed where we could do our filming and filming inside the school was amongst the
preferences for our filming, as it was the most spacious and we felt the layout of the school was
suitable for what we was trying to film, as there would be a lot of running and the majority of it
would be a fast pace.We also discussed how we were progressing in regards to the planning work.

In these meeting minutes we discussed the making of the storyboard and were talking about what
shots would be suitable.As it was an action film sequence we knew we needed a lot of shots and
we needed a large variation on the shots we used, as it’s meant to move at fast pace and more
shots are needed to fill time.We knew that some shots were fundamental such as close up, mid
shot and long shot, but we needed to discuss which shots we could use in order to give it that
creative element.

In these minutes we discussed when we were going to film, it was crucial that we got the time right as
we needed to be fully prepared to film, but also give ourselves an amount of time which enables us
to film something of a good quality and meet the deadline given to us.We also had to think of a
location to do the filming, we had previously had a few potential ideas but we decided to film in
the school as it was relatively spacious and had useful equipment for the filming e.g. the lift.The
actors used for the film was also something else we discussed in depth as we needed actors that
would sell the storyline to the audience and act the part given to them quite convincingly.

What we discussed in these minutes:
In these minutes we discussed the progress in filming, and after watching over what we had done so far
we decided if we needed to make any changes to the shots ...etc in order to give it that element of
creativity. We also looked at whether there was a large enough variation on the shots along with
whether each shot was the right length; as it was important not to not make the shots too long.
We also looked at the paperwork and uploading the work to the blog and discussed ways in which
we could catch up with all incomplete work.

What was discussed in these meeting minutes:
In these meeting minutes we again discussed the paperwork, and meeting
deadlines, additionally we reviewed the quality of the paperwork and
decided whether it was to a sufficient standard, we decided that some of
the pieces would have to be redone.We had also looked at the shots we
currently had, as we had nearly finished filming, we had to look through
the shots and see which ones are useable.

and looked at which shots were usable, and if we had a large enough

the blog and looked to ensure each group member had
enough posts and we also checked to see if the blog was

all of the pre production work was complete, we then
uploaded it to the blog. We also looked at the partially edited
version of our film, and looked to see if any improvements

We discussed the maintenance of the blog ensuring it looked
up to scratch checking all navigation was easy and making
sure all of the links work. We also finalised all paperwork
