1. I remember the first time we crossed paths
It seems as if you just walked into my soul
I was feeling things that were so new
Seeing things that I thought was a direct reflection of you
But… I saw myself, while looking through your eyes
Mmmmmmmm
I liked what I saw of me looking through your eyes
As you stood there in my soul
I inhaled your spirit
It was a rush not to be compared to any other
You allowed me to drink from your cup of life
I instantly felt restored
My passion for life growing to immeasurable depths
I step outside of your soul, still draped in the essence of you
You asked for nothing but gave so much and so freely
Feeling the need to repay you for such a gift
I offer you what I feel to be my most prized possession
You chuckled lightly as you placed your hand on my shoulder
Saying you’ve already given me your most prized possession
I wallowed in ignorance for a moment as I replaced my clothing
He explained: You gave me your trust when you allowed me to lead you. You gave me your
unconditional love when you drank from my cup of life. You gave me your heart when you
inhaled my spirit
And these things are your most prized possession. Everything else is a bonus…
