8. I am spoilt for choice but I would want to preserve the artistic
beauties of Italy for those who come after us.
One example is the architecture of the Colosseum in Rome.
Another, the painting “Primavera” by Sandro Botticelli. Then an
example of technology and sport would be the Lamborghini
Gallardo.
But if I had to choose one, I would choose the Pietà by
Michelangelo. It is a sculpture that appeals to all generations
because, beyond the religious meaning, it's just a mother
mourning her murdered son. Many mothers, even today, suffer the
same pain. This statue is something which reminds us that grief is
the same for everyone, whatever their race, religion or age.
