If you were to suggest the development and expansion of a Palawan
City, what suggestions for development will you give? Make a sketch
map and plans.

Palawan is an island province of the Philippines located in the
Western Visayas region. Its capital is Puerto Princesa City and it is the
largest province in terms of land area. The islands of Palawan stretch
from Mindoro to Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the South
China Sea in the northwest and Sulu Sea in the southeast.
Palawan is considered to be the Philippines' "last frontier". The
province boasts of many splendid beaches and has two World Heritage
Sites: Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park and the Puerto Princesa
Subterranean River National Park.

Physical
Palawan consists of the long and narrow Palawan Island, plus a
number of other smaller islands surrounding the main island. The
Calamian Group, to the northwest consists of Busuanga Island, Culion
Island, and Coron Island. Durangan Island almost touches the
westernmost part of Palawan Island, while Balabac Island is located off
the southern tip, separated from Borneo by the Balabac Strait. In
addition, Palawan covers the Cuyo Islands and Cagayan Island in the
Sulu Sea. The disputed Spratly Islands, located a few hundred
kilometers to the west is considered part of Palawan by the Philippines,
and is locally called the Kalayaan Group of Islands.

I suggested the three major things that need more development. First,
Palawan City needs a large airport which the tourist can easily walk,
run or whatever they want to do and also it needed reconstruction to
make sure that they are in a safe place. Secondly tourist needs a
comfortable and affordable hotel which they can enjoy staying in.
While they are enjoying staying in Palawan City, somebody loves
adventure they love climbing up the trees; going too far from the City
discovered how beautiful Palawan is and they need to take a bus or
van to go there, but how tourist can go far using bus or van when the
road is break. Third road also needed reconstruction; there are some
instances that we never expected like if in rainy days, the small bridge
will have breaking down. Forth it is very common problems that
Palawan has lack of supply of electricity particularly in the far area.
People there need electricity to have a better life like in the City. So
people must have to be cooperative and to be useful to each and every
one to aim goal not for ourselves but for the others especially mother
Earth.
