2. Perseverance:
It is defined as continuing in a course of action
even in the face of difficulty or with little or no indication of
success
3. why most people fail in their approaches:
When it comes to creating change in our life or achieving our
goals, it probably won’t be easy. We may struggle. It’ll likely take
longer than we expect. It’s almost certain that we’ll have setbacks
and short-term failures along the way. Especially when it involves
creating new habits, developing new skills or learning new concepts.
So fear of difficulty and fear of failure make people to loose hope on
their approach towards success
4. There are two types of people
1. One who likely to get discouraged and give up on your goal
2. One who tend to embrace the struggle, learn from the setbacks and
keep moving forward
The second type of people are called perseveres they
never stop their struggle until they get their success.
5. “When we hear about extremely successful people, we mostly hear
about their great accomplishments – not about the many mistakes
they made and the failures they experienced along the way. In fact,
most successful people throughout history are also those who have
had the most failures. That is no coincidence. People who achieve
great feats, no matter what field, understand that failure is not a
stumbling block but a stepping-stone on the road to success. There is
no success without risk and failure. We often fail to see this truth
because the outcome is more visible than the process—we see the
final success and not the many failures that led to it.”

6. Impact of Perseverance on our career
Perseverance is a key to career success. Within every career,
there are challenges. Challenges are a test – they test our commitment,
risk taking skills, ability to overcome difficulties and confidence, to
stretch our comfort zones and so on. We are all capable of achieving
career success: it just comes down to how much perseverance and
determination we have. These qualities are pre-requisites for success.
Just like the story of the tortoise and the hare. It’s not about getting to
the finish line first, it’s about taking your time, being thorough,
challenging yourself, setting goals and taking action every day to
achieve your own success

who are interested in opening a restaurant. Did you know
that Colonel Sanders did not set out to accomplish his dream of
opening a restaurant until he was sixty-five years old? Sanders
worked at a variety of different jobs during his lifetime, such as
a steam engine stoker, insurance salesman and filling station
operator. However, his dream was to open a restaurant and he
persevered until that dream became a reality. You can follow

hard work was ever going to make it better? J.K. Rowling, author of
the Harry Potter series currently holds the ranking of the second wealthiest

herself described her life as a mess when she first started writing the series
in 1995. The messy life consisted of going through a divorce and living in a
tiny flat while surviving on government assistance. Her manuscript was
rejected by twelve different publishers before she received a publishing
contract. In the end, she became famous, built a positive reputation as an

company because Thomas Edison was also called those things by his teachers.
However, Edison rose above those criticisms, persevered through the many
obstacles that blocked his path and became an American inventor and
businessman. He was known as “The Wizard of Menlo Park”. That’s definitely
a far cry from being called stupid and unteachable. Edison is mostly famous
for his invention of the electric light bulb and he also invented the phonograph
and the motion picture camera. Additionally, he thought outside the box and
became one of the first American inventors to begin utilizing mass production
and a teamwork environment for the creation of his inventions. Many people
credit Edison with creating the original industrial research laboratory. So, the
next time you think your career is going nowhere fast, take a look at Edison
and keep persevering.

of all obstacles, discouragements and
impossibilities: It is this, that in all things
distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.
-Thomas Carlyle
