This project aims to provide computer skills training to girls in rural schools who lack access to IT resources. The goals are to help girls learn about computers and how to use them, and to challenge stereotypes about girls' capabilities with technology. The plan is to invite 18 girls from neighboring schools without computers to a computer lab at the organizer's school. The girls will receive instruction on using MS Word and conducting Internet searches. The expected results are that the girls will gain skills in working with Word and searching online that can help with their studies, and that they will share what they learn with others.
