2. BASE COVER
Personal Accident Cover:
a) Death:
In case of death, the sum insured will be paid to a nominee or legal
representative.
b) Permanent Total Disability:
In case of permanent disability, the sum insured will be paid to the insured,
nominee or legal representative.
Child education bonus:
In case of death or permanent total disability of the insured, a one time payment of
2% of the sum insured will be paid for dependent children under the age of 21,
towards child education bonus.

3.  Accidental Hospitalization Cover
In case the insured needs hospitalization due to accidental injury, the expenses will be
indemnified provided they are in the hospital for at least 24 hours.
Waiver of 24hours hospitalization would be considered under Accidental Hospitalization
Expenses for the surgeries/procedures due to technological advancement provided
such procedures comply with the standard definition of Day Care Centre and Day
Care treatment mentioned in the Policy definitions.
 Hospital Daily Allowance
In case of hospitalization, a certain amount, as benefit, will be given to the insured for
not more than 5 days, to help the insured with the ancillary expenses to the
hospitalization.
 Emergency Medical Evacuation
In case of an emergency, if the insured has to be moved from the present hospital to
another facility with better medical equipment, the ambulance charges of moving
the insured will be indemnified.

4.  Personal Liability
Personal liability cover helps you when accidental bodily injury is caused, or
property damage is done to a third party by the insured. After the damage, the
case goes to the court and depending on the court’s decision the damage
expenses are covered by us.
 Repatriation Of Remains
In the event of the death of the insured due to accidental injury, the expense for
the final rites or to get the body home will be indemnified by us.
 Trip Cancellation
When a trip gets cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, the difference
amount between the original price of the ticket and the refund amount will be
reimbursed by us.

5.  Emergency Hotel Extension
In case the insured or the family members of the insured, sustain accidental injuries
which requires them to extend their stay at the hotel, then the money required
to extend their stay will be indemnified by us.
 Missed Connection
When the insured misses connecting flight/train, due to –
o Flight delay by 6 hours than the scheduled departure time
o Train delay by 12 hours than the scheduled departure time
then he/she will be indemnified the expense incurred to buy a new ticket.
 Home Burglary Insurance
Loss/Damages caused due to robbery or attempted burglary will be indemnified
against the claims made.
 Compassionate Visit By A Family Member
When hospitalized, if the insured expects a visitor then the company will indemnify
the cost of travelling of the visitor. Economy class transportation via common
carrier of the family will be provided for the visitor.

6.  Bounced Hotel
The hotel that was booked by the insured before the trip, denies services, then the
cost of traveling to another hotel or to upgrade (if the situation demands) will be
indemnified by us.
 Delayed/Loss Of Checked Baggage
In case there is a 6 hour delay or loss (due to theft, larceny or robbery) in checked
in baggage, then the expenses incurred towards buying toiletries, medication,
and clothing, after reaching the destination will be reimbursed by us.
 Adventure Sports Benefit
This add-on provides accidental cover to the insured, in case of permanent body
disability or death while engaging in adventure sports activity under professional
supervision.

7.  Trip Curtailment
Due to some unfortunate event, if you have to alter your trip. The amount spent
towards buying a new ticket for returning home will be reimbursed by us.
 Trip Delay By Scheduled Aircraft
In case there is a 6 hour delay by the scheduled airline on the day of travelling. The
amount that will be spent towards buying a new ticket will be reimbursed by us.
 Loss Of Baggage
In case you lose your baggage due to theft or larceny, then the expenses incurred
towards buying toiletries, medication, and clothing, after reaching the
destination will be reimbursed by us. This is applicable for every mode of
transport apart from airplanes.
