David Beckham frequently changed his hairstyle over the years in order to appeal to more people and gain more fame and popularity in the media. Some of his hairstyles included long hair slicked back, blond hair, a mini-mohawk, and cornrows. While many thought he did this to look good and be seen as attractive, Beckham stated he simply wore his hair how he wanted without thinking about how it would be perceived. The different hairstyles ultimately helped further his celebrity status and lead to advertising deals where he could model.

2. David Beckham’s appearance has changed over the years and he had several
different hairstyles as a matter of fact. He likes to change his look and have
loads of people to like him. He also wants to get popular in the media and
wants to have a lot of fame like most people. This was mostly the reason why
he changed his hairstyle all the time. Here are some examples of his different
hairstyles.

Long combed back hair, Blond hair, mini- Mohawk, cornrows, long pig-
tails.
3. Why has David Beckham done this?
Most people think this because he wants to get famous and wants to be
displayed as a good-looking man but the media wanted to take this
as a chance and they pounced on it to make him look like an ‘idiot’.
David Beckham had said one time but wasn’t acknowledged by the
media; ‘I don't get up and think, I'm going to wear this because it will
make a statement. I just wear what I want to wear.’
As a result of getting good hairstyles he now does advertisements and is
into celebrity endorsement. He now tries to display himself as a model.

5. This shows us that David Beckham is trying to cover up the fact that he
has had ‘rubbish’ haircuts that didn’t suit him. The media picked this
out and made it look like the press was being sarcastic. He seemed
particularly embarrassed about his cornrows and tried to style it out
and say that he was ‘drunk’ at the time.
His Mohican ‘felt good’ but he doesn’t want to do them now doesn’t
make sense. Surely if something felt good then you would want to
experience it again or at least not be embarrassed about it.
