The aim is for the batting team to score runs by hitting the ball and running between wickets, while the fielding team aims to get the batters out. There are different formats of cricket including test matches, one-day internationals, and Twenty20 matches. Cricket is now a global, billion-dollar industry and international tournaments are held.
