Volunteer Coordinator for the
Libertarian National Committee in
Washington D.C. Vice Admiral
Michael Colley quickly promoted him
to Director of Outreach.

media and video producer for the Atlas
Foundation, training libertarian
activists around the world on the latest
technology available to advance
freedom in their countries.

Andrew Napolitano to become a

In every true American lies the heart
of a libertarian. Freedom is what
made America great, and what can
restore the checks and balances
necessary to ensure the blessings of
liberty are secure for our future
generations.
Petersen will keep America strong,
but won’t sacrifice our constitutional
rights for a false sense of security.
The number one most important role
of government is to secure our
liberty, and the second is to keep us
safe.

Presenting a bold,
new vision for the
American future.
Petersen’s career
at a glance…
A fresh face
for liberty…
Libertarian Party Presidential
Candidate Austin Petersen has
over a decade of grassroots and
professional political, media, and
executive experience.
Described by Fox News’ Sr Judicial
Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano as
“utterly fearless” and “the right side
of my brain,” Missourian Austin
Petersen has joined the Libertarian
Party’s race for President of the
United States
2. Austin Petersen’s bold, new vision for America is
one of economic freedom, and personal liberty
for all Americans.
Republicans and Democrats offer a different
idea of liberty, one that cuts our natural rights in
half. Republicans claim to support economic
freedom, but not personal liberty. Democrats
claim to offer personal liberty, but not economic
freedom.
Libertarians offer both. And therein lies the
heart of the American dream. America wasn’t
founded to make us into better people. It was
founded so that we could be whatever we wanted
to be.
The American experiment is the idea that each
and every individual has the right to his or her
life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. An Austin
Petersen campaign is one based on sound
money, peace, free markets, low taxes, and social
tolerance.
“Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of
rapid growth.”–George Washington
-George Washington
Who is Austin
Petersen?
Austin Petersen is the son of
hardworking Missouri landscapers.
Born in Independence, he was raised
on a farm in Peculiar and learned the
value of a hard day’s work by toiling
in the fields and on job sites in the
summers between school.
Petersen’s belief in the power of free
markets began during the summers
he spent planting and selling
chrysanthemums to the people of his
small town.
Petersen graduated from Ray-Pec
High School as a member of the
National Honors Society, and
received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in
Musical Theatre from Missouri State
University in Springfield. As a
young, award-winning playwright,
Petersen moved to New York City
after graduation to pursue a career
in media.
National Humanities Award Winner
Lew Lehrman described Austin as
“very bright, and very creative.”
Austin is running on a platform of restoring
and strengthening the core Bill of Rights,
and restoring constitutional checks and
balances on executive power.
Petersen defends free speech, the right to bear
arms, privacy from unreasonable searches and
seizures, and the belief in government
decentralization; i.e. Federalism.
The states and We the People should be a
check and balance on the power of the federal
government. All government power is derived
from the consent of the governed, and all rights
are individual rights.
A Petersen 2016 campaign will restore checks
and balances, enforce the constitutional
guarantees of our natural rights, and expand
economic and personal liberties. Join us today
to help spread this message, and to keep
America strong and free.
