3. Atlan5c Energias Renovaveis – Atlan5c - is a company headquartered in Curi5ba, the
capital city of the state of Parana in southern Brazil. It develops, owns and operates
renewable energy projects.
By combining mini-hydroelectric plants and wind farms, Atlan5c achieves a reliable
business model while keeping up with its commitment to supply clean energy.
Since its founda5on in 2009, Atlan5c sells energy in both the regulated and free markets:
Sales to regulated u5li5es (via public auc5ons) and Sales to large energy users (via
bilateral nego5a5on).

• Atlan5c wins an auc5on to sell energy for 20-yrs from a new 195 MW
wind farm to be built at Lagoa do Barro, in Piaui state
• Another energy auc5on is won, adding 54 MW to the Santa Vitoria do
Palmar wind farm
• Eurus II, Renascença V and Rondinha begin commercial opera5on
• Construc5on of Morrinhos wind farm begins

• Atlan5c is established.
2010
• Atlan5c wins an auc5on to sell energy for 20-yrs from two new
wind farms, totalling 60MW, to be built in Rio Grande do Norte
2011
• Construc5on of the Rondinha mini-hydro plant
begins
• Atlan5c wins an auc5on to sells energy for 20-yrs
from a new 150 MW Morrinhos wind farm to be
built in Bahia state
2012
• Construc5on of Eurus II and Renascença V wind farms begin in Rio
Grande do Norte state
2013
• Bri5sh Private Equity firm AcKs, becomes the
majority shareholder with 60%.
• Atlan5c wins an auc5on to sell energy for 20-
yrs from a new 153 MW wind farm to be built
at Santa Vitoria do Palmar
• Another auc5on is won to expand the
Morrinhos wind farm by an addi5onal 30 MW
2016
• Construc5on of the 195 MW Lagoa do Barro wind farm begins in
Piaui
• Santa Vitoria do Palmar wind farm starts up
• AcKs fund acquires 100% control of the holding Atlan5c

Educa5on, communica5on and social ini5a5ves are part
and parcel of our sustainable plan.

28. JOAO PAULO II CHILD CARE CENTER
Established in 2007, the Joao Paulo II Child Care Center is a private, non-profit
organiza5on that offers high quality teaching to low-income children living in
Piraquara, in greater Curi5ba metropolitan area.
Besides financial support, Atlan5c employees take part in recrea5ve and
educa5onal ac5ons organized by the Center to promote environmental and
ci5zenship awareness.

At Christmas and Children’s Day, Atlan5c promotes events to distribute
giss, as well as educa5onal and recrea5onal ac5vi5es that combine
material benefits and development of sustainability awareness.
Workshops and lectures about the correct disposal of domes5c residues
(“Descarte Legal” program), health educa5on, promo5on of history
awareness and theater workshops are some of the ac5vi5es
accomplished.

31. BNDES Social Projects
Companies that secure long-term loans from BNDES are en5tled to a special
credit to be used for social development programs in areas near the projects.
In Joao Camara e Parazinho (RN), where there is a concentra5on of wind farms
from different developers, BNDES has encouraged the crea5on of an integrated
social development project that leverages investments in health, educa5on and
sanita5on, in which Atlan5c par5cipates ac5vely.
