Re: Atheer Altaie
I am a principal of YYZed Project Management (“YYZed”). Our company provides planning,
construction and management services for real estate developers in the Toronto area. I am
writing this reference letter to support Atheer Altaie’s applications for employment.
Context of Reference Letter
I met Atheer during February 2015. At that time, Atheer was working as an in-house Project
Manager for a development company located in Richmond, Hill. Our company had been hired by
the development company to build the proposed project as construction managers. On behalf of
YYZed, I was the lead principal working on the file.
YYZed worked at the development from February 2015 until October 2015. For a period of 7
months, I therefore worked very closely with Atheer on a daily basis in respect of the project
and came to know him very well. In view of our work experience, I have an excellent
appreciation for Atheer’s competence as a Project Manager.
Opinion as to Atheer’s Capabilities
Atheer is an extremely competent, hard-working and intelligent person. His work ethic is
exceptional. Atheer and I worked as a team to help develop the above project and prepare the
project for construction. At all times, Atheer demonstrated high level knowledge as to many
facets of the development and construction field, including: working with consultants and
collaborating with the municipality; strategizing for sales and marketing programs; addressing
financing issues; negotiating with trades; working with lawyers; preparing trade contracts,
budgeting and preparing a construction coordination plan.

Even though Atheer’s previous experience was acquired primarily in the United Arab Emirates,
he quickly adapted to the development and construction process in Ontario. He is a very fast
learner.
Atheer was also given a significant workload from his employers and exhibited a talent for
juggling many tasks under conditions that were often stressful. He handled such situations with
professionalism. He also made himself available to meet with our construction team on short
notice, occasionally during evenings or weekends, whenever circumstances required. From time
to time, Atheer was also the last person to leave the office at the end of the day. This
demonstrated a commitment to his position.
Atheer exhibits strong leadership and effective communication skills. He is team
oriented and has a talent for motivating people.
As a person, Atheer has a warm and charming personality. He is outgoing, ambitious and very
likable.
Atheer will no doubt find success in his endeavors. He would be a benefit to any organization.
