release tablet, delayed-release tablet, and liquid solution. You take these
forms by mouth. Prednisone is used as an anti-inflammatory or an
immunosuppressant medication. Prednisone has many side effects also.

2. Prednisone side effects in women
Big problem with prednisone is that affects the balance of hormones inside
the body of a woman which may result in various different sorts of
emotional problems such as increased anxiety, extreme mood swing and in
some cases even severe depression. Prednisone may be very harmful for
both mother and child in pregnant women. Pregnant women may also
experience hives and skin rashes as a result of prednisone usage. In some
cases this medication may also be affiliated with excessive stretch marks.
Prednisone side effects in men
Headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, indigestion, etc., are some of the
common side effects of corticosteroids and antibiotics. Steroid induced
osteoporosis is one of the most significant side effects of prednisone.
Steroids decrease the calcium absorption capacity of the body which
results in bone fractures and diseases like osteoporosis. Prednisone works
