The two-day client seminar covered topics related to affirmative action and regulatory compliance for federal contractors. On the first day, sessions focused on affirmative action basics, developing internal audit systems, and technology resources. The second day included discussions on current OFCCP enforcement trends, a technology update, and best practices. Breakfast, lunch, and breaks were also provided over the course of the seminar.

3. Affirmative Action Basics

As a starting point to our implementation discussions, Annette will take you through the
affirmative action plan and regulatory obligations of federal contractors/subcontractors.
This session will focus on the development of an affirmative action plan, how to interpret
reports and the overall expectations of an affirmative action employer.

4. Developing and Implementing
an Internal Audit System

One of the most challenging aspects of affirmative action compliance is making sure that
your program is up to par prior to an investigation. Affirmative action programs contain
ongoing obligations for federal contractors/subcontractors that need to be monitored
and assessed to make sure the train remains on track. Join Vickie for a great session
geared toward internal system development to ensure you are meeting, or exceeding, your
expanding regulatory requirements.

6. “Focused Compliance” under
current OFCCP

Join Patrick as he sets the stage for achieving regulatory compliance with an emphasis on
current day enforcement trends at OFCCP. OutSolve clients have seen their fair share of
compliance reviews over the last several years. Through his involvement in reviews that
span OFCCP Districts and Regions, as well as clients in many different industries, Patrick
will be able to share some horror stories as well as some successful strategies on how to
approach an audit in today’s OFCCP environment. This session will include a review of
OFCCP’s current scheduling letter and how it relates to the information learned in the
previous sessions on AAP Basics and Internal Audit Systems.
