The reasons of my becoming a criminal lawyer have been briefly discussed.

1. Which legal fieldappeals the most to you and why? Is there a standout case from
the last twenty years in this fieldthat you wouldhave loved to have been part of?
Being a lawyer, the most appealing area of legal practice for me is criminal law,
which ranges from minor offenses to murder and includes white-collar crimes
such as corruption, bribery, fraud, and criminal conspiracy.
The most appealing factor for my becoming a criminal lawyer is that I want to
safeguard the rights of my fellow human beings. A criminal lawyer has to present
all the evidence against the offender in a court of law to prove him guilty and to
punish him accordingly.
I want to see harmony and peace in society, and to achieve this purpose;
prosecuting people who break the law and defending those innocent who have
been falsely implicated in criminal cases hold great significance.
So, a criminal lawyer plays a vital role in society and the administration of justice.
The criminal justice system of any country depends on the defense and
prosecuting lawyer. Prosecutors present the evidence against the suspected
criminal while the defense lawyer tries to prove the innocence of a person
wrongly incriminated. A defense lawyer finds many opportunities to help people
in distress.
Another reason for my opting a criminal law is the opportunity to earn handsome
money while dealing with wealthy clients.
A criminal lawyer has a more flexible work schedule than other lawyers.
And last but not least, the reason which appeals to me to choose the career of a
criminal lawyer is that you can help those who can not help themselves. You can
extend legal aid to a person charged with a criminal offense who does not have
the resources to hire a lawyer. These clients predominantly suffer from a lack of
education and mental illness. They can be acquitted of these charges because of
your legal assistance.
My greatest desire was to be part of the prosecution team in a case of a minor
girl who was raped and killed by one of his relatives in district Kasur. I wanted to
provide free-of-cost legal aid to the bereaved family to bring to book the rapist
and murderer of their beloved daughter.
