ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Jet Impingement cooling system June 2016
Conducted an experimental study on the effects of nozzle geometry in jet impingement cooling system
Gathered data which depicted a 35 – 45 % difference between the heat transfer coefficient of circular nozzle
and square nozzle, thus proving that circular nozzle is the most efficient
Friction welding of similar 4140 steels August 2015
Investigated the suitability of 4140 steel for friction welding
Analyzed the optimal friction welding parameters through ANOVA analysis
Concluded and published that upset pressure is the most significant factor among the 2 parameters varied
during experimentation and plays a key role while performing friction welding on 4140 steels
Design and Fabrication of self levelling spring palletizer July 2015
Developed a Spring Palletizer to reduce unwanted worker movements during palletizing operation
Proposed an increase in worker efficiency up to 75% by implementing the palletizer design
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. Ltd June 2014
Internship
Collected work flow data for the implementation of E-Kanban in the manufacturing plant after thorough
analysis of the workings of the plant and its supply chain
Created an action plan based on the collected data for implementation of the E-Kanban system and further
incline the plant towards Just in Time manufacturing
