India’s largest student entrepreneurship summit
was organized by the Kerala Startup Mission on
19th August 2017. O ver 3000 students from more
than 190 colleges participated fo r the summit at
Adlux International Convention Centre, Angam aly.
O ur student team and Ricardo Technix with the
Assistant professors Krishnanunni and Deepu
Sajeev attended the summit. O ur Principal Dr. Arun
Surendran led the team along with the Infinity Labs
team of UST G lobal.
The IEDC Summit featured a range of eminent speakers including Kerala CM Shri Pinarayi V ijayan, Central
IT Secretary Aruna Sundarraj, G oogle India MD, other government officials and experienced entrepre­
neurs. The event was an eye opener about how the trend on campuses have changed from placement orien­
tation tow ards startup culture. Trinity and UST display booths attracted the maximum attention with the
underw aterrover, AR/VRdisplays, live 3D printing and loT gadgets. The trip in itself was an adventure
since the teamleft Trivandrum at 4am andreturned only a fte r 24 hours!
