A disgraced tax agent scheduled for release from Fula Correctional Centre on Saturday after serving three years in jail for cheating more than $4 million, although the Australian Tax Office is still investigating his past clients for unpaid taxes. Richard Hogg, 59, is expected to be back to one of three Cheltenham detached houses he co-owns and which have been funded with the benefits of his tax evasion scheme. Besides declining to comply with the request to pay $1.1 million in restitution to some of his victims, he holds a share in some other piece of property in Cheltenham valued at up to $3 million.
