En cualquiera de sus variedades afecta al crecimiento y desarrollo del niño o niña en el
momento en que conecte, si se extiende a lo largo del ciclo de vida afecta sus capacidades
y predispone la aparición de enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles Mientras mas
temprano ocurra la desnutrición mayor y mas irreversible será el daño

Las causas de la desnutricion estan relacinadas no solo con factots biogicos si no tambien
sociales
Clasificacíon
Por la gravedad de su presentacion la desnutricion puede ser leve ,moderada o grave y por
su evolucion aguda o cronica
fisiopatologia
Fisiopatologicamente la falta aguda o brusca de macro y micronutrientes provoca una serie
de alteraciones
A nivel hepático Con disminución de la síntesis de la albumina
A nivel celular Disminución de potasio y estrés oxidativo que originan el edema

Tratar y/o prevenir la hipoglucemia
En caso de glicemia con valores
inferiores 54 mg/dL y administra
glucosa al 5% o 10% a los
requerimientos basales por vía
endovenosa u oral es importante
comenzar la alimentación lo antes
posible utilizando la formula 75 (75
calorías por cada 100 ml) debe recibir
esta fórmula cada 2 horas día y noche
15. TRATAMIENTO
Tratar y/o prevenir la hiponatremia
cuando la temperatura axilar es
menor a a 35.0°C calentar
activamente al niño
16. Tratar y/o prevenir
la deshidratación
La reposición de líquidos debe r cautelosa
y solo utilizar vía EV utilizar en casos de
choque para no sobrecargar la función
cardiocirculatoria. En caso de
deshidratación utilizar la vía endovenosa,
se utiliza la solución de rehidratacion
oral modificada para el niño desnutrido
