The Meridian First Light House is a holiday home in New Zealand constructed from six 40-foot shipping containers. It was designed by students from Victoria's School of Architecture and produces as much energy as it uses through its 6kw solar array, making it a net zero energy house. The central glazed section bridges the indoors and outdoors.

First Light.
The heart of the design is the glazed central section which functions as a bridge between the natural
environment and the indoors.
