2. This is the city of Pompeii, in 79
A.D. the year Mount Vesuvius
terrorized the city and its
people.
At the time it was ruled by the
Romen emperor Tito

3. This item is called a glirarium.
This may look like a vase but it
is infact a cage. It was used to
keep dormice. The comenPeople
in Pompeii would catch the mice
and keep themin the vase
looking cage and fatten them up
to eat.

5. The streets of Pompeii were never empty, from morning to
sundown people came to the streets to eat at what we today
would call street venders. They would eat and drink wine all
day which was normal for them to do.

6. The braclet on the left was a
very populer item worn by the
elite.
The signat rings in the middle of
the display were worn both by
men and Women. Engraved on
them are the names or the
owner's mark.
The to bracelts and the ring are
snakes with minimal engraving
of scales.
