The three-day enriching experience of a webinar that focuses on Strengthening High School
Science Teachers’ Competency in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Gender and
Development, and Career Path Guidance.
According to a certain article in the internet, natural science helps humans understand the
world around them and to seek explanations for the seemingly unexplainable, whether that’s
weather patterns or how stars and galaxies are formed.
Thus, I am sure that through the duration of the activity, we as educators had a better
appreciation of continuously strengthening our competencies particularly in the fields covered
by this webinar. As we all know, we are now living in the so-called new normal era where
engaging in science education is a great help in achieving resilience.
I would like to give commendations to the participants from different agencies who responded
positively to this professional endeavor.
To the facilitators and speakers of the different topics, we thank the Almighty for creating
