Our easy to use Field Installable Connector for hard cable uses a U-groove
alignment system which has two man advantages over traditional V-groove
alignment:
1. ensures that fiber core alignment deviates less than 0.5um
which reduces insertion loss.
2. reduces core offset when different fiber diameter are married
for example when there are slight variations between customer
fiber and the connector fiber stub
The ceramic U-groove also boasts excellent thermal stability and has high
rigidity which translates into a wide working temperature range and
extended life time.

production.

towards this new, very-high-speed world.
We ultrasonically clean the ferrule and pay
special attention to cleaning the fibre before insertion.
For obvious reasons this has a clear impact on
product performance but we are going further.
We find that even slight contamination will
occasionally mean that the epoxy is not always in
complete contact with the ferrule. Allowing
temperature and humidity fluctuations to minutely pull
and push the fiber over curing time, this may translate
directly into unpredictable changes in fiber height. To
minimize this we have built a a clean room 100Gb
production line at our factory in Shenzhen. Capacity
is currently at 6000 terminations per day and growing.
Another added benefit to ordering from product
from this high-end production is that there is no need to
clean the end face before installing in the network which
saves in on site time and materials.
