I’ve known Andrés since 2009 in my capacity as the director of www.ChatislamOnline.com, one of
the main projects at the World Wide Association for Introducing Islam. Andrés has been working for
us as an administrative assistant for the first year and later as a team leader of our English team; also
he has been in charge of the Spanish and Portuguese leaders temporarily several times.
The website offers a free 1 to 1 chat service to anyone interested in knowing about Muslims and
Islamic culture, anywhere in the world.
His work includes:
1- Selecting, testing and developing new operators who deal directly with the public.
2- Setting the team’s schedule and organizing temporary cover for other operators.
3- Sending monthly performance reports to the director.
4- Being in charge of payments for the team’s operators.
5- Designing a conversational policy and setting up the team’s ‘canned answers’.
6- Dealing with the public’s enquiries, compliments and complaints directly via email and chat.
7- Online marketing in social media and was in charge of our Google Ads campaign researching
for the best keywords, ads and competitive bidding price.
This kind of work is very inter-cultural as it requires dealing with people from every continent
coming with different attitudes and perceptions on a daily basis; and Andrés has worked with us to
