Title : SINAMICS V50 A Low Voltage AC Drive
Period : 2013-14 (B.E. Level)
Description: Sinamics V50 is one of the products of Siemens. It is a cycloconverter which is work on v/f principle. The
significance of this drive is that it provided same torque at output of motor when frequency varied.

2. Contribution- Testing of Sinamics V50 160 Kw drives
During testing of Sinamics V50 it was observed the load use for drive was Resistive load. If the terminals of drive
connected to the load are reversed then it will not indicate any result to operator. In this case we suggested using an
Induction Motor so that terminal reversal the motor will rotate in reverse direction & operator can come to know about
terminal reversal.
Title : Light Intensity Controller Using LDR
Period : 2010-11 (Diploma Level).
Description: The basic concept of our project is to control illumination of light according to requirement. Here we use LDR
which senses the darkness of surrounding & therefore it will switch on the light at the night time at the same time it is als o
seeing that at night time traffic density on road get reduce after 12 midnight therefore there is no need of light intensity &
hence we save energy by reducing the intensity of light at half.
