To whom it may concern,
Amelia Seed–Butler was employed on M/Y Lady S a 69.5 meter Amels, as a
stewardess from 1st July, 2013 until 10th August, 2015. She was promoted to 2nd
Stewardess on the 1st April 2014. During her time onboard the vessel was engaged
in three very busy charter seasons as well as personal use by the owner in the
Mediterranean, Caribbean and the Bahamas.
Amelia is a very organized, reliable, and switched on individual, which made her the
ideal candidate to fill the 2nd stewardess role when it became available. In my
absence during the yard periods and Atlantic crossings she managed the interior to
the highest of standards executing all tasks with happy and positive attitude,
organizing and monitoring all work going on as well as training of the stewardesses.
Amelia was very well liked by the owners, guests and crew alike. Some of the many
attributes that the owners noted were her eye for detail, her discretion, positive
demeanor and personal appearance. The owner’s wife became dependent on her for
personal shopping, styling, and merchandising of her extensive wardrobes. She also
assisted me with the booking of restaurants, organizing tender rides for guests, and
cars ashore. The Owners expressed a desire for her to work in their other
properties, something that hasn’t happened before. Beyond her work for the owners
she was my right hand woman; her creative eye led us to putting on some fabulous
themed parties, which guests always thoroughly enjoyed. Furthermore she
implemented and updated standard operating procedures for the interior
department, which was no mean feat given our busy work schedule.
I recommend Amelia without reservation and would certainly employ her again and
I wish her all the best. I and the crew will miss her; she has been a wonderful crew
member.
Kind Regards
