2. What is it? Cheerleading is a sport that uses organized routines that range from 1 minute to 3 minutes made from elements of tumbling, dance, cheers, and stunting to direct spectators of events to cheer on sports teams and matches at cheerleading competitions.
3. High School Cheerleading Consists of cheering at games both football and basketball Includes Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman Often times compete in competitions against other high schools as well
4. All-Star Cheerleading Formed in the early 1980’s Cheerleading teams that are not associated with a school. Does not cheer for a team, but the team competes in competitions around the nation.
5. College Cheerleading Both All Girl and Co-Ed Squads Cheer at both football and basketball games and cheer at competitions as well.
