WITCH HAZEL presents a DJ set of original work from 2015, a collection of past live music
performances—from their EPs Godzilla and Fish, as well as 2015 performances Hulu Plus,
Pop Star Girl Group, and material from Imp Queen’s and Bon Bon’s upcoming solo EPs.
Ariel Zetina aka Unicorn Florida DJs while Imp Queen, DEV_N_, and Bon Bon provide live
vocals and wear looks designed by Imp Queen and Bon Bon. In this hour long piece, the
trans*queer artists re-imagine themselves as celebrities, mythical beings, and concepts
rather than people in an attempt to navigate through the streets of Chicago in a trans body.
WITCH HAZEL is a Chicago based trans-queer music and performance project curated by
IMP KID (staging and design), DEVEN CASEY (manager and the muse), and ARIEL ZETINA
(text and music). WITCH HAZEL explores gender-queer adolescence through personal
experience and the dual lenses of pop-culture iconography by creating time-based narrative
art. Work by WITCH HAZEL has been featured at dfbrl8r gallery, Steppenwolf Garage, the
Empty Bottle, Chances Dances, and more.
