1. “From the moment Amanda and Taylor showed up for our adventure I just knew it was
going to be a very special week. And of course, the entire week was just that. Not only
was it a life-experience change for me since I’ve only been hiking since February but an
experience that I truly will never forget.
A large part of me enjoying the trip was the special care that both of your hiking leaders
gave each and every one of the twelve of us on the trip.
Nothing was a problem for them to do for anyone. Changing of band-aids, driving and
loading the van, making sure hotel rooms and restaurant reservations were spot-on and
ready to go, carrying a lunch for us that we had at Ribbon Falls that was amazing, making
sure everyone was okay each and every moment, following up on all what could be
followed up on. I could go on and on. But what really stood out to me was the positive
attitudes both of these young people had every day and also the depth of knowledge both
Amanda and Taylor have of the history and environment of the Grand Canyon. They
answered all questions that everyone asked. They knew so much.
Amanda is like an encyclopedia. She is one of the most intelligent young women I have
ever met in my lifetime. From all of her wealth of life experiences and education at such a
young age she is definitely a shining star for AOA.
Please know I appreciated each and every day of our trip.”

“My Dad and I just got back from the Rim to Rim hike and wanted to say thanks to you and
the AOA crew for an awesome trip! We had an amazing time and couldn't have asked for
better guides then Taylor and Amanda. They really went above and beyond to make sure
everyone had a great time.
Thanks again for everything! AOA Rocks :)”
