Intern at Surry Nuclear Power Station- June 2014 to August 2014
 Learned basic engineering maintenance and daily procedures of a nuclear power plant.
 Worked with colleagues in the electrical systems group to monitor and repair electrical
components and analyze how their performances affect power output of the plant generators.
 Completed various projects including those related to Ultrasonic Flow Metering, grid-
reliability, battery replacement, and analyzing heat-trace breakers.
Peer Tutoring- January 2013 to May 2015
 Enhanced the performance of students in their classes and homework by offering on-call and
appointment hours in the subjects of Calculus I and II (along with various other Mathematics
courses), Algorithmic Design I, Signals and Systems, and Circuit Theory I.
 Facilitated review sessions for students with upcoming tests by contacting and working with
professors to gain insight on course and syllabus information.
Part-time Federal Work-Study – January 2013 to May 2014
 Worked with Professors and other professionals on various research tasks such as those
involving Excel VBA coding and Matlab GUI interfaces.
 Organized in and around office spaces/storage areas for the Chair of the Chemical
Engineering department as well as various staff members.
