OBJECTIVE
I am currently seeking work within my fields of study and interest, Physics or Electrical
Engineering. I hope to use the knowledge and work experience I gain to complete a
Masters and Doctoral program within the next 6-8 years. I have a particular interest in
sound technology and would like to research in that field as part of and after my higher
education. Most importantly, I am seeking experience within an engineering team to gain
professional insight and understanding of a laboratory environment.

 Assist professors in the classroom instruction and implementation of a
newly designed teaching method for calculus based physics courses. I
helped students work through tutorial based, highly researched
workbook assignments meant to have students address common
misconceptions in physics. I also worked in a physics help center for
students.
Instructional Assistant Jan. 2013 – May 2015
 Responsible for the safety and instruction of several students through
their weekly laboratory assignments. Subject matter included: calculus
based mechanics and electromagnetism, algebra based mechanics and
electromagnetism, and conceptual physics.
 Lead the instruction of the other Lab Instructional Assistants prior to
student lab sections.

 Worked as part of a large team to guide Mac OS users through both
routine and complex troubleshooting solutions. These solutions came
from standard procedures found in knowledge base articles.

Entertainment and Audio Technician June 2010 – Aug. 2010
 Serviced the parade floats mechanical and electrical components for the
Glow in the Park Parade. Repaired broken EL Wire and operated the
floats.
 Sound technician and stage hand for large amphitheater concerts, staged
productions, and live musical performances across multiple venues.
