It is a good book with great pictures for the kids, but some of the vocabulary may be difficult. It is a book about recycling, which goes along with the third grade standard pollution. Litterbug Doug is wasteful and lazy. He hates recycling. He only has rat friends and two cats, and a whole big pile of waste! Michael Recycle comes to the rescue to convince Litterbug Doug that he needs to recycle so he can have friends and live in a clean environment. Litterbug Doug finally agrees to recycle his mess and take a shower. He ends up becoming the litter bug police. <br />Directions: Use multiplication or division to complete the word problems from Michael Recycle meets Litterbug Doug.
