Morgantown Eats is a weeklong celebration from December 5-12 showcasing restaurants in downtown Morgantown. It will begin with a Culinary Crawl on December 5, a guided food tasting tour of 10 restaurants for $35 per person. From December 5-12 will be the first ever Downtown Morgantown Restaurant Week, where 20 restaurants will offer special discounted menus, such as three-course prix fixe menus or percent-off discounts, to acquaint residents with the dining options downtown. Morgantown Eats was conceived by WVU students in partnership with local organizations to support the Monongalia Arts Center.

DOWNTOWN RESTAURANTS CELEBRATE COMMUNITY & CUISINE WITH
MORGANTOWN EATS
Bringing together two of Morgantown’s most unique qualities—community and
cuisine—Morgantown Eats is as weeklong culinary celebration showcasing all the
incredible downtown dining options. The celebration kicks off on Dec. 5 with a Culinary
Crawl. The foodie adventure continues through Dec. 12 with the first ever Downtown
Morgantown Restaurant Week, with special discounted menus being offered by select
local businesses.
Culinary Crawl is an exclusive preview to downtown Morgantown Restaurant
Week, giving guests a first bite of downtown Morgantown’s tastiest finds. Participants
will be taken on an al fresco guided food tasting tour starting at the Monongalia Arts
Center and progressing through downtown Morgantown. The Culinary Crawl is divided
into two convenient tasting times for participants, with ten restaurants per tour. Tickets
are $35 and must be purchased in advance. This is a rain or shine event.
Restaurant Week will feature special discounted menus from 20 downtown and
Wharf District restaurants. From three-course prefix menus, to free desserts and percent
off savings, the participating restaurants invite residents to get reacquainted with the
2. sophisticated downtown atmosphere and indulge in the array of tasty restaurant options
for a limited time only price. Some restaurants require a reservation.
