Artistic Denim Mills Ltd (vertical set up) From Jan 2008 –onward
 Worked in HR & Compliance Department from 2008 to till.
Responsibilities & Duties as a Sr.HR Officer:
 1- Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
 2- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Manager.
 3- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
 4- Process documentation & prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, etc.
 5- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes.
 6- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
 7- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc).
 8- Communicate with public services when necessary.
 9- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
 10- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
Responsibilities & Duties as a Sr.Compliance Officer:
1. To floor visit at least twice a day.
2. To ensure workers fire safety, fire prevention, fire equipment, health & safety & comfortable environment at work place.
3. To aware the workers about personal protective equipment.
4. To receive grievance, complain & suggestion from the worker & after receiving the issue discuss with related person &
Administration.
5. Try to find out emotional problem of an employee. The problem may be work related or personal which affects his work
performance.
6. To provided supportive counseling the sick worker for medicinal support on the worker’s requests, complain or situational
demand.
7. Try to make aware the existing workers about by company provided all facilities & necessity of compliance.
8. To making the all documents related from social compliance & COC audits.
9. To Arrangement & Attending of COC Audits like (VF, H&M, NEXT, C&A, ZARA, & ESPRIT).
10. To follow up aisle mark free, fire extinguisher no blocked, emergency exit free, fire equipment free, and stair free from
carton on floor.
11. To check all production related register if any date mentioned of holiday or not.
12. To conduct orientation program for newly appointed worker.
13. Try to motivate & make them conversant with the company objective, rules & regulations, buyers COC & local laws.
14. To briefing the employees about all facilities of company, mandatory safety instruction including all “do’s & Don’ts”.
15. To make aware the employees about leave procedure, working hour & over time system according to local laws.
16. To make aware the employees about personal health, hygiene, Fire safety & handling.
17. To ensure that no employee each maltreated mentally or physically abused & they should be treated with respect &
dignity.
Responsibilities & Duties as a Environment Health & Safety Officer:
 Circulate material received from EH&S to appropriated members of the department.
 Inspect the department to ensure the workplace meets the various safety requirements.
 Ensure that monthly inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Exit Lights and Emergency Lighting, are carried out.
 Respond to reports of unsafe conditions (e.g. electrical hazards, loose stair tread, etc.) by requesting repairs or
maintenance. In some circumstances, material may have to be prepared for annual submission to the Repairs and
Alterations budget.
 Accompany staff from the Department of Environmental Health and Safety, Joint Health and Safety Committees, and
external agencies during workplace inspections.
 Follow up on any deficiencies noted during inspections, and ensure that they are corrected.
 Assist EH&S with investigating all accidents and send reports to the Department of Environmental Health and Safety.
Ensure the completion of incident report/accident reports so Workers Compensation Board can be notified of all
accidents.
 Notify EH&S of critical accidents, unsafe conditions or work refusals.
 Ensure all staff receive the information with respect to:
o Fire Safety, Chemical Safety, Radiation Safety, Biohazard Safety, First Aid Training.
 Keep the Department Head informed on all of the above.
 Maintain Departmental Safety notice Board.
