THE PROPHETS (al-
Anbiya)
By the reality of The One To Serve/Allah The Beneficient The Ever Giving.
1. Mankind’s reckoning has drawn near, but they turn away heedlessly.
1. No fresh reminder comes to them from their Regulator, but they listen
to it playfully.
3. Their hearts distracted, the extremists confer secretly, “Is this anything
but a mortal like you? Will you take to sorcery, with open-eyes?”
2. He said, “My Regulator knows what is said in the universe and the earth;
and The One is the Hearer, the Knower.”
5. And they said, “A jumble of dreams,” and, “He made it up,” and, “He is a
poet,” “let him bring us an indicator, like those sent to the ancients.”
6. None of the towns The One destroyed before them had convinced. Will
they, then, be convinced?
1. The One did not send before you except men, whom The One
inspired. Ask the people of knowledge, if you do not know.
8. And The One did not make them mere bodies that ate no food, nor were
they immortal.
1. Then The One fulfilled The One’s promise to them, and The One saved
them together with whomever The One willed, and The One destroyed
the transgressors.
2. The One have sent down to you a Book, containing your message. Do
you not understand?
3. How many a guilty town have The One crushed, and established
thereafter another people?
4. Then, when they sensed The One’s might, they started running away
from it.
13. Do not run, but come back to your luxuries, and to your homes, that you
may be questioned.
14. They said, “Woe to us. We were extremists.”
15. This continued to be their cry, until The One made them silent ashes.
16. The One did not create the universe and the earth and what is between
them for amusement.
17. If The One wanted amusement, The One could have found it within The
One, were The One to do so.
18. In fact, The One cast the truth against falsehood, and it crushes it, so it
vanishes. Woe unto you, for what you describe.
19. To The One’s belongs everyone in the heavens and the earth. Those near
The One’s are not too proud to serve The One, nor do they waver.
20. They perform night and day, without ever tiring.
21. Or have they taken to themselves something to serve from the earth who
resurrect?
22. If there were in them serving other than The One To Serve/Allah, they
would have gone to ruin. Perform be The One To Serve/Allah, Regulator
of the dominion, beyond what they allege.
23. The One will not be questioned about what The One does, but they will
be questioned.
24. Or have they taken, besides The One, others to serve? Say, “Bring your
proof. This is a message for those with me, and a message of those
before me.” But most of them do not know the truth, so they turn away.
25. The One never sent a messenger before you without inspiring him that:
“There is none to serve but I, so serve Me.”
26. And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken to The One a son.” The
Performing One; they are but honored servants.
27. They never speak before The One has spoken, and they only act on The
One’s command.
28. The One knows what is before them and what is behind them; and they
do not intercede except for him whom The One approves; and they
tremble in awe of The One.
29. And whoever of them says, “I am to serve besides The One,” The One will
reward him with Hell. Thus The One rewards the extremists.
30. Do the unconvinced not see that the universe and the earth were one
mass, and The One tore them apart? And The One made from water
every living thing. Will they not convince?
31. And The One placed on earth stabilizers, lest it sways with them, and The
One placed therein signposts and passages, that they may be guided.
32. And The One made the sky a protected ceiling; yet they turn away from
its wonders.
33. And The One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the
moon; each floating in an orbit.
34. And The One did not grant immortality to any human being before
you. Should you die, would they then continue?
35. Every soul will taste death. The One burden you with adversity and
prosperity—a test. And to The One you will be returned.
Ba-Lam-Waw =Try, prove or test by good or evil. To become old and worn out, wear and tear, withered, decayed. Not caring, minding, heeding, regarding or
paying attention. Conferring favors, benefits or blessings. Swearing oaths, covenants. Informing, acquainting, revealing, manifesting, making apparent,
evident, clear or plain. Competing, striving or hastening
36. When those not convinced see you, they treat you only with ridicule, “Is
this The One who mentions yours to serve?” And they reject the mention
of the Merciful.
37. The human being was created anxious. I will show you My evidences,
so do not seek to rush Me.
38. And they say, “When will this promise come true, if you are truthful?”
39. If those who are not convinced only knew, when they cannot keep the
fire off their faces and off their backs, and they will not be helped.
40. In fact, it will come upon them suddenly, and bewilder them. They will
not be able to repel it, and they will not be reprieved.
41. Messengers before you were also ridiculed, but those who jeered were
surrounded by what they used to ridicule.
42. Say, “Who guards you against the Merciful by night and by day?” But
they turn away from the mention of their Regulator.
1. Or do they have to serve who can defend them against The One? They
cannot help themselves, nor will they be protected from The One.
2. We have given them enjoyments, and their ancestors, until time grew
long upon them. Do they not see how The One gradually reduce the land
from its extremities? Are they then the victors?
3. Say, “I am warning you through inspiration.” But the deaf cannot hear
the call when they are being warned.
4. And when a breath of your Regulator’s punishment touches them, they
say, “Woe to us, we were truly wicked.”
47. The One will set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so
that no soul will suffer the injustice. And even if it be the weight of a
mustard-seed, The One will bring it up. Sufficient are The One as
Reckoners.
5. The One gave Musa and Harun the Standard, and illumination, and a
reminder for the honest.
6. Those that fear their Regulator in private, and are apprehensive of the
Hour.
50. This too is a blessed message that The One have revealed. Are you going
to deny it?
51. The One gave Ibrahim his guidance before, and The One knew him well.
1. When he said to his father and his people, “What are these statues to
which you are devoted?”
2. They said, “We found our parents worshiping them.”
3. He said, “You and your parents are in clear error.”
4. They said, “Are you telling us the truth, or are you just mocking?”
5. He said, “Your Regulator is the Regulator of the heavens and the earth,
The One who created them, and I testify to that.
6. “By The One To Serve/Allah, I will have a plan for your statues after you
have gone away.”
7. So he broke them into pieces, except for their biggest, that they may
return to it.
8. They said, “Who did this to ours to serve? He is certainly one of the
extremists.”
9. They said, “We heard a youth mentioning them. He is called Ibrahim.”
10. They said, “Bring him before the eyes of the people, so that they may
witness.”
11. They said, “Are you The One who did this to ours to serve, O Ibrahim?”
12. He said, “No. It was this biggest of them that did it. Ask them, if they can
speak.”
13. Then they turned to one another, and said, “You yourselves are the
extremists.”
14. But they reverted to their old ideas: “You certainly know that these do
not speak.”
15. He said, “Do you serve, instead of The One To Serve/Allah, what can
neither benefit you in anything, nor harm you?
16. Woe on you, and on what you serve instead of The One To Serve/Allah.
Do you not understand?”
17. They said, “Burn him and support yours to serve, if you are going to act.”
Ha-Ra-Qaf = To burn by pulling in the fire, scorch. To file a thing, to rub one part of a thing with another, to grind (the teeth), make a grating sound by grinding

19. They planned to harm him, but The One made them the worst losers.
20. And The One delivered him, and Lot, to the land that The One blessed
for all people.
21. And The One granted him Ishak and Ya’akub as a gift; and each The One
made honest.
22. And The One made them leaders, guiding by The One’s command; and
The One inspired them to be productive, and to observe the
review/discussion, and to give out charity. They were devoted servants
to The One.
23. And Lot— The One gave him judgment and knowledge, and The One
delivered him from the town that practiced the abominations. They were
wicked and perverted people.
24. And The One admitted him into The One’s mercy; for He was one of the
honest.
1. And Noh, when he called before. So The One answered him, and
delivered him and his family from the great disaster.
2. And The One supported him against the people who rejected The One’s
evidences. They were an evil people, so The One drowned them all.
3. And Daud and Sulaiman, when they gave judgment in the case of the
field, when some people’s sheep wandered therein by night; and The
One were witnesses to their judgment.
4. And so The One made Sulaiman understand it, and to each The One gave
wisdom and knowledge. And The One subjected the nation/mountains
along with Daud to perform/sing The One’s praises, and the Noble/birds
as well—surely The One did.

Timeline? -in the Mesopotamian states of Sumer, Akkad and Assyria
-initial use of iron reaches far back, to perhaps 3000 BC
-earliest smelted iron artifacts were a dagger with an iron blade
-found in a Hattic tomb in Anatolia, dating from 2500 BC
-widespread use of iron weapons which replaced bronze weapons
-ancinet near east this transition took place in the 12th century BC
-technology spread throughout the Mediterranean Basin region
-to South Asia (Iron Age in India) between the 12th
/11th century BC
Character -production of tools/weaponry by ferrous metallurgy (ironworking)
-more specifically from carbon steel

8. And Ayub, when he cried out to his Regulator, “Great harm has afflicted
me, and you are the Most Merciful of the Merciful.”
9. So The One answered him, lifted his suffering, and restored his family to
him, and their like with them—a mercy from The One, and a reminder
for the servants.
Story? -Quran describes Ayub as a righteous servant of The One
-who was afflicted by suffering for a lengthy period of time
-however, it clearly states that Ayub never lost faith in The One
-forever called to The One in prayer
-asking The One to remove his affliction
10. And Ismail, and Idrees, and Dhulkifl; each was one of the steadfast.
11. And The One admitted them into Our mercy. They were among the
honest.
12. And Dhun-Nun/Yunus, when he stormed out in fury, thinking The One
had no power over him. But then he cried out in the darkness, “There is
none to serve but You! The Performing One! I was one of the extremists!”
Story? -Yunus is central character in Book of Jonah, in New Testament
-which The One commands him to go to the city of Nineveh

-as a result the storm calms
Then? -after being cast from the ship
-Jonah is swallowed by a large fish(a whirlpool)
-he remains in the belly for three days and three nights
-while in the great fish, Jonah prays to God in his affliction
-commits to giving thanks and to paying what he has vowed
-God commands the fish(whirlpool) to vomit Jonah out
13. So The One answered him, and saved him from the affliction. Thus The
One saves the conviced.
14. And Zakaria, when he called out to his Regulator, “My Regulator, do not
leave me alone, even though you are the Best of inheritors.”
15. So The One answered him, and gave him Yahya. And The One cured his
wife for him. They used to vie in doing honest deeds, and used to call on
The One in love and awe, and they used to humble themselves to us.

19. Whoever does honest deeds, and are convinced, his effort will not be
denied. The One are writing it down for him.
20. There is a ban on the town that The One had destroyed—that they will
not return.

) as the root of the word
-Tamar was given the title "king of kings" (mepe mepeta).
-there was one pass on the southeast end in Derbent
-known as the Caspian Gates or Gates of Alexander
-so very likely people from Caucassus

convinced stare in horror: “Woe to us. We were oblivious to this. In fact,
we were extremists.”
23. You and what you serve besides The One To Serve/Allah are fuel for Hell.
You will descend into it.
24. Had it been yours to serve, they would not have descended into it. All
will abide in it.
25. In it they will wail. In it they will not hear.
26. As for those who deserved goodness from The One, they will be kept
away from it.
27. They will not hear its hissing, and they will abide in what their hearts
desire.
28. The Supreme Fear will not worry them, and the angels will receive them:
“This is your Day which you were promised.”
29. On the Day when The One fold the universe, like the folding of a book.
Just as The One began the first creation, The One will repeat it—a
promise binding on The One. The One will act.
The universe -will recoil and come back to The Singularity
30. The One have written in the Psalms/Zabur, after the Reminder, that the
earth will be inherited by My honest servants.
106. Indeed, in this is a message for people who serve.
107. The One has not sent you except as mercy to mankind.
108. Say, “It is revealed to me that yours to serve is Singularity. Are you going
to be peaceful?”
109. But if they turn away, say, “I have informed you sufficiently. Although I
do not know whether what you are promised is near or far.”
110. The One knows what is said openly, and The One knows what you
conceal.
111.“And I do not know whether it is perhaps a trial for you, and an enjoyment
for a while.”
112. He said, “My Regulator, judge with justice.” And, “Our Regulator is the
Gracious, of which help is sought against what you allege.”

Refreshed Al-Quran (al-Anbiya).docx

  • 1. THE PROPHETS (al- Anbiya) By the reality of The One To Serve/Allah The Beneficient The Ever Giving. 1. Mankind’s reckoning has drawn near, but they turn away heedlessly. 1. No fresh reminder comes to them from their Regulator, but they listen to it playfully. 3. Their hearts distracted, the extremists confer secretly, “Is this anything but a mortal like you? Will you take to sorcery, with open-eyes?” 2. He said, “My Regulator knows what is said in the universe and the earth; and The One is the Hearer, the Knower.” 5. And they said, “A jumble of dreams,” and, “He made it up,” and, “He is a poet,” “let him bring us an indicator, like those sent to the ancients.” 6. None of the towns The One destroyed before them had convinced. Will they, then, be convinced? 1. The One did not send before you except men, whom The One inspired. Ask the people of knowledge, if you do not know. 8. And The One did not make them mere bodies that ate no food, nor were they immortal.
  • 2. 1. Then The One fulfilled The One’s promise to them, and The One saved them together with whomever The One willed, and The One destroyed the transgressors. 2. The One have sent down to you a Book, containing your message. Do you not understand? 3. How many a guilty town have The One crushed, and established thereafter another people? 4. Then, when they sensed The One’s might, they started running away from it. 13. Do not run, but come back to your luxuries, and to your homes, that you may be questioned. 14. They said, “Woe to us. We were extremists.” 15. This continued to be their cry, until The One made them silent ashes. 16. The One did not create the universe and the earth and what is between them for amusement. 17. If The One wanted amusement, The One could have found it within The One, were The One to do so. 18. In fact, The One cast the truth against falsehood, and it crushes it, so it vanishes. Woe unto you, for what you describe.
  • 3. 19. To The One’s belongs everyone in the heavens and the earth. Those near The One’s are not too proud to serve The One, nor do they waver. 20. They perform night and day, without ever tiring. 21. Or have they taken to themselves something to serve from the earth who resurrect? 22. If there were in them serving other than The One To Serve/Allah, they would have gone to ruin. Perform be The One To Serve/Allah, Regulator of the dominion, beyond what they allege. 23. The One will not be questioned about what The One does, but they will be questioned. 24. Or have they taken, besides The One, others to serve? Say, “Bring your proof. This is a message for those with me, and a message of those before me.” But most of them do not know the truth, so they turn away. 25. The One never sent a messenger before you without inspiring him that: “There is none to serve but I, so serve Me.” 26. And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken to The One a son.” The Performing One; they are but honored servants. 27. They never speak before The One has spoken, and they only act on The One’s command.
  • 4. 28. The One knows what is before them and what is behind them; and they do not intercede except for him whom The One approves; and they tremble in awe of The One. 29. And whoever of them says, “I am to serve besides The One,” The One will reward him with Hell. Thus The One rewards the extremists. 30. Do the unconvinced not see that the universe and the earth were one mass, and The One tore them apart? And The One made from water every living thing. Will they not convince? 31. And The One placed on earth stabilizers, lest it sways with them, and The One placed therein signposts and passages, that they may be guided. 32. And The One made the sky a protected ceiling; yet they turn away from its wonders. 33. And The One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in an orbit. 34. And The One did not grant immortality to any human being before you. Should you die, would they then continue? 35. Every soul will taste death. The One burden you with adversity and prosperity—a test. And to The One you will be returned. Ba-Lam-Waw =Try, prove or test by good or evil. To become old and worn out, wear and tear, withered, decayed. Not caring, minding, heeding, regarding or paying attention. Conferring favors, benefits or blessings. Swearing oaths, covenants. Informing, acquainting, revealing, manifesting, making apparent, evident, clear or plain. Competing, striving or hastening 36. When those not convinced see you, they treat you only with ridicule, “Is this The One who mentions yours to serve?” And they reject the mention of the Merciful.
  • 5. 37. The human being was created anxious. I will show you My evidences, so do not seek to rush Me. 38. And they say, “When will this promise come true, if you are truthful?” 39. If those who are not convinced only knew, when they cannot keep the fire off their faces and off their backs, and they will not be helped. 40. In fact, it will come upon them suddenly, and bewilder them. They will not be able to repel it, and they will not be reprieved. 41. Messengers before you were also ridiculed, but those who jeered were surrounded by what they used to ridicule. 42. Say, “Who guards you against the Merciful by night and by day?” But they turn away from the mention of their Regulator. 1. Or do they have to serve who can defend them against The One? They cannot help themselves, nor will they be protected from The One. 2. We have given them enjoyments, and their ancestors, until time grew long upon them. Do they not see how The One gradually reduce the land from its extremities? Are they then the victors?
  • 6. 3. Say, “I am warning you through inspiration.” But the deaf cannot hear the call when they are being warned. 4. And when a breath of your Regulator’s punishment touches them, they say, “Woe to us, we were truly wicked.” 47. The One will set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul will suffer the injustice. And even if it be the weight of a mustard-seed, The One will bring it up. Sufficient are The One as Reckoners. 5. The One gave Musa and Harun the Standard, and illumination, and a reminder for the honest. 6. Those that fear their Regulator in private, and are apprehensive of the Hour. 50. This too is a blessed message that The One have revealed. Are you going to deny it? 51. The One gave Ibrahim his guidance before, and The One knew him well. 1. When he said to his father and his people, “What are these statues to which you are devoted?” 2. They said, “We found our parents worshiping them.” 3. He said, “You and your parents are in clear error.” 4. They said, “Are you telling us the truth, or are you just mocking?”
  • 7. 5. He said, “Your Regulator is the Regulator of the heavens and the earth, The One who created them, and I testify to that. 6. “By The One To Serve/Allah, I will have a plan for your statues after you have gone away.” 7. So he broke them into pieces, except for their biggest, that they may return to it. 8. They said, “Who did this to ours to serve? He is certainly one of the extremists.” 9. They said, “We heard a youth mentioning them. He is called Ibrahim.” 10. They said, “Bring him before the eyes of the people, so that they may witness.” 11. They said, “Are you The One who did this to ours to serve, O Ibrahim?” 12. He said, “No. It was this biggest of them that did it. Ask them, if they can speak.” 13. Then they turned to one another, and said, “You yourselves are the extremists.” 14. But they reverted to their old ideas: “You certainly know that these do not speak.”
  • 8. 15. He said, “Do you serve, instead of The One To Serve/Allah, what can neither benefit you in anything, nor harm you? 16. Woe on you, and on what you serve instead of The One To Serve/Allah. Do you not understand?” 17. They said, “Burn him and support yours to serve, if you are going to act.” Ha-Ra-Qaf = To burn by pulling in the fire, scorch. To file a thing, to rub one part of a thing with another, to grind (the teeth), make a grating sound by grinding the teeth, eat to the uttermost, to be evil in disposition, make a mark or impression upon a thing with fire, burn a person or thing with fire, to burn a thing or person repeatedly or frequently, cause burning pain, to afflict/distress/annoy/molest/hurt a person or people, to blame or upbraid or reproach a person, detract from one's reputation, nip/shrink/shrivel/blast herbage (cold air or weather), destroy/perish a person or thing, to burn or become burnt. 18. The One said, “O fire, cease/be coolness and safety upon Ibrahim.” Nun-Waw-Ra = fire, flame, heat, war, light, shine, sparkle, irritate, vex or provoke war. Ba-Ra-Dal = make cold/chilly/cool, died, cessation of motion, become still/quiet/motionless, amazed/stupefied, became permanent/fixed/settled, became lean/emaciated/weak, slept, hail/snow, beverage that cools the heat of thirst. 19. They planned to harm him, but The One made them the worst losers. 20. And The One delivered him, and Lot, to the land that The One blessed for all people. 21. And The One granted him Ishak and Ya’akub as a gift; and each The One made honest. 22. And The One made them leaders, guiding by The One’s command; and The One inspired them to be productive, and to observe the review/discussion, and to give out charity. They were devoted servants to The One. 23. And Lot— The One gave him judgment and knowledge, and The One delivered him from the town that practiced the abominations. They were wicked and perverted people.
  • 9. 24. And The One admitted him into The One’s mercy; for He was one of the honest. 1. And Noh, when he called before. So The One answered him, and delivered him and his family from the great disaster. 2. And The One supported him against the people who rejected The One’s evidences. They were an evil people, so The One drowned them all. 3. And Daud and Sulaiman, when they gave judgment in the case of the field, when some people’s sheep wandered therein by night; and The One were witnesses to their judgment. 4. And so The One made Sulaiman understand it, and to each The One gave wisdom and knowledge. And The One subjected the nation/mountains along with Daud to perform/sing The One’s praises, and the Noble/birds as well—surely The One did. Jiim-Ba-Lam = He (God) created him with an adaptation/disposition by nature. He compelled him against his will. He (or they) came/went/betook himself to the mountain. He (a digger) reached a hard place or stone in his digging. Big/thick/coarse/rough (human or a thing). Much/numerous. The lord/chief of a company of men.
