Subj: LETTER OF APPRECIATION FOR ALI Adnan Ali
1. Ali Adnan Ali , also known as '' Ali ", has served with distinction as a linguist
with United States Marine corps unites for the last two years. The past year
has been served with Police Transition Team 1 at Haditha, Iraq district
Headquarters of the Iraqi Police Service.
2. Ali has devoted his time and effort to assisting the Marine Corps in
successfully advising and transitioning the Iraqi Police in Haditha into the lead
on all security issues. Ali has also sacrificed his own personal safety and well
being for the Marines and American civilians around him by serving in every
capacity that the Marines do. Despite that potential danger of associating with
and working directly for Coalition forces in Iraq, "Ali" persists because of his
love for country and dedication to the mission at hand.
3. '' Ali'' has never hesitated to perform any task requested of him and often
volunteers to do missions when other linguists refuse. He has never let down
the Transition Team in any task always delivering superior results in all that
he does.
4. '' Ali '' is deserving of greater recognition than this letter can provide. Please
extend to him all courtesies afforded by his position, experience and
dedication.
