I Wanna Dance with Somebody releases in December
Whitney Houston is the greatest singers of all time. Although Houston began her singing career at the
age of five, she officially released her first album in 1985. After releasing her album in 1985, her talent
and ability placed her front and center among millions of fans of all ages and backgrounds. Growing up
in the X generation, one can recall Houston as a dynamic singer who had music such as: I Want to Dance
with Somebody to break the ice of racial division, social injustice, and boredom considering technology
nor cell phones were a prominent commodity during the 1980s.
While the X generation only knew of the Whitney as a budding 30-year-old singer, her career was in its
prime as Whitney is one of the greatest vocalists of all time. People remember her voice, character, and
most of that phrase in one of her hit songs Greatest Love of All, - “Learning to love yourself is the
greatest love of all” (Whitney Houston). In 1985, Whitney Houston was a singing sensation as she easily
was selected for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Artist. In 1987, Houston won her 1st
Grammy
award, and the rest was history. Before her passing in 2012, Houston won the Billboard Music Special
Millennium Award and MTV Europe Music Award for Global Icon.
To fill in the gaps that many generations missed, the one and only Whitney Houston Biopic will be
released in December of 2022, in theaters.

16. Education News
All students can learn and has a profound opportunity to gain experience. What makes learning difficult
are distractions within the classrooms, hallways and students being tardy to school or class. As a
community of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles etc., it is important that children are taught the
purpose of attending school. Education is an important commodity as it is the bridge to success and
failure within life. It is important that children understand that they should be where they are supposed
to be for wellbeing, learning and safety. If the community could assist schools in the manner of
educating and making education a priority by investing in time, finances and education, schools will
become effective places to learn.
In addition, it is essential that education become the focus for schools. During research, a significant
amount of time resolving issues and conflict. The reason there are achievement gaps is because some
areas of education have become a place to do everything except learn. I encourage parents and the
community to assist in letting all youth know the importance of an education and the research behind
fatalities and incidences with youth in the communities.
