Homelessness is an issue that causes individuals to remain on the streets where crime is more likely. Non-profit organization ALEA Bridge works to reduce homelessness in Hawaii by providing collaborative and comprehensive solutions to assist those who are at-risk such as individuals, families and veterans. One idea is to create separate areas for homeless mothers and children versus men, and have volunteers provide them with food.
