2. Bisoca is one of the most generous villages in Buzau
in landscapes and natural monuments. Here is one
of the most important monastic centers, Poiana
Marului, where he served hundreds of years ago St.
Basil at Poiana Marului. Unfortunately, access to the
commune, which is 65 km away from Buzau, is
significantly hampered by the extremely damaged
road infrastructure.
3. There is no tourist not to be conquered by Bisoca,
a town located between the Buzau Mountains and
Vrancea Mountains, almost a thousand meters
altitude. Bisoca is amazed by the beauty of the
landscape, which once inspired Nicolae
Grigorescu, but also by the fact that there are
many preservers of ancient folk traditions.
4. A legend says that once, on the fields of Bisoca, they
laid down the feet of the shepherd Bucur, the
founder of Bucharest. It would be left behind, as
evidence, the locals say, a rock that the peasant
would have used when it lived in these lands. It's
called Bucur's Table, and it's a rock of about 150 tons
about which the legend says it served as shelter for
the shepherd Bucur.
5. Another commune of the commune is the "Lakes
of Bisoca", a mixed, forest, geological and botanical
reservation. In the reserve you can admire the
Silvestru pine, as well as two lakes, the Clear Lake
and the Black Lake. Here you can also dine in
cottages located a few meters from the lake of the
same name.
