2. Location Scouting is a vital stage is pre-production filmmaking where
suitable locations are searched for that fit the criteria of a scene as
defined by scriptwriters, director or producers.

3. T H E S H E D
• The shed plays a major role in our trailer as
it’s where the protagonists discover the
items that kickstart the story
• The shed was required to look old and
used, as though nature was taking over
• This particular shed was a good fit as it
looked rundown and nature was
definitely beginning to consume it
• Unfortunately, the inside of the shed was
rather small and would be difficult to film in

4. T H E S H E D
• The shed plays a major role in our trailer as it’s
where the protagonists discover the items that
kickstart the story
• This particular shed looked rather menacing
and included the windows we required for our
character to see through
• The interior was large and there were items
and furniture we could use
• Unfortunately, some items within looked
difficult to move and would likely decrease
efficiency as we’d spend time moving them
around

5. T H E S H E D
• This particular shed, at another
location, was too modern and
repaired for our needs
• Whilst it had a window, the interior
was rather small and was packed
with garden items, so much so that
it would be very difficult to film
inside

6. T H E H O U S E
• The house we required needed to be large
enough to fit our group, but also meet our
specifications of being rather modest.
• The house is accessible to us and
allows us to use a variety of rooms
which we would potentially be able to
pull off certain scenes
• However, some of our planned actions are
not possible here, such as the protagonists
climbing through a window to escape
