VALLEY BIZ SEEN Greater Valley business events
1a. The Warner Center Association held a May 7 networking
event at Warner Center Marriott to welcome newly appointed San
Fernando Valley leadership at the Los Angeles police and fire

2. PizzaRev, 748 West Rancho Blvd., Palmdale held a May 13
fundraiser for Gabriel’s House, a city-sponsored center where
neighborhood students can take music and performing arts
classes. Palmdale Mayor Jim Ledford (in sports coat) stands
to the left of PizzaRev manager Leticia Contreras (in cap and
black polo shirt) amid restaurant staff and Gabriel’s House
students.
3. The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce held its 20th annual
Food and Wine event May 8 at Founders Hall, Calabasas.

4. The Boys and Girls Club of Simi Valley received a $10,000
grant from Ford Motor Co. on May 14 to increase attendance
at the club, which aims to keep students on track to graduate

dent and customer relations manager, Simi Valley Ford;
Virginia Hayward, chief executive, Boys and Girls Club.
